This is an independent crew playlist project. Its email check is separate from Backroads' work sign-in and your Spotify account. Never enter your work or Spotify password here.

Why we ask for an email

We send a one-time code to an eligible Backroads address, or a registered administrator address. This checks access to that mailbox before revealing the Spotify invitation. Your Spotify account can use a different email.

What the site keeps

Your email is stored with a temporary sign-in request and, after verification, with a browser session. Codes expire after 10 minutes and sessions after 24 hours. Expired records are removed by hourly maintenance when it runs successfully. Codes and session tokens are stored as protected hashes, not readable values. Keyed hashes are also used to limit repeated requests.

A necessary secure cookie keeps you signed in on this browser. Signing out removes this session. The site does not install advertising or analytics trackers. Playlist settings retain the administrator address that last updated them.

Who processes the information

Cloudflare hosts the site and temporary sign-in data. Google's mail service sends the code from the dedicated project address, shareurmuzik@gmail.com. These services process delivery and request information under their own retention policies; deleting a temporary site record does not delete an already delivered email.

The site has no access to your work inbox, work password, Spotify password or Spotify account tokens. Spotify handles accepting the invitation and playlist collaboration.

The invitation can be forwarded

Once someone obtains a Spotify invitation, they can share it. Losing access to this site does not remove collaboration rights already granted in Spotify. The playlist owner manages collaborators in Spotify.
